Kanani Fong, Founder

Los Angeles:  Since 2010, Kanani has provided the personal touch for war, military, and veteran projects. She is knowledgeable about veteran and military family issues, and the humanitarian crisis brought about by war.  Kanani’s ever-changing network helps her pinpoint the right organizations and groups to help move a project forward and gain the largest possible audience. Past projects include Taming the Fire Within by Anne Freund,  Restrepo (nominated for an Academy Award), with Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger, High Ground with Producer Don Hahn and Director Michael Brown,  and the Oscar-nominated film, A WAR. She coordinates with producers, directors, theatrical bookers, film festivals, and publicists (both national and regional), veterans organizations, governmental agencies, and the military.  Her other interests include Afghanistan, women and girls in education, contractors, autism, and art in schools.  Kanani is the founder of WarRetreat, which provides resources for those coming home from war. She blogged about her experiences as an Army wife at the award-winning Kitchen Dispatch. She has a degree in fine arts, and much much later, studied poetry, and creative writing with the late Les Plesko at UCLA. 

Gabriel A. Tolliver

He resides in Oakland, CA & Brooklyn, NY and places in between.

Andi Fehl
